10. Day Ten - Low GL DIET

Low GL Diet

Morning Weight 14.10 stone

·        Breakfast

o       Cereal from Asda £1.88 per box

· Pint of squash

· Cup of Tea

·          Lunch        

o       Wrap – sliced ham, chopped cucumber, lettuce

o         Pint of water

o       Cup of tea x 2 

·        Dinner

o       Chicken, tomato, cream freche

§         Add 2 table spoons of olive oil to a pan.

§         Place chicken breast in pan and rub in oil so covered all over.

§         Add cherry tomato’s 250g to surround chicken

§         Place in oven at 200 Celsius for 40 to 50 minutes

§         Check that chicken is cooked.

§         Take out of oven add cream freche and heat slowly.

§         Service with salad.

§          

·        Exercise

             Not a great deal of exercise today just a short walk today into town to post some letters, back to swimming or gym tomorrow.

7. Day Seven - Low GL DIET

Low GL Diet

 

Morning -Weight 14.7 stone

My weight hasn’t changed much but the coffee doesn’t help but we had a long weekend and I need the coffee to keep myself going. I’ll be cutting the coffee out it says in the book to reduce coffee, tea, chocolate, alcohol.

 

            Breakfast

·        Grape Fruit

·        Pint of water

·        Cup of coffee (its the weekend

             This was not the greatest day so far but we were at Euro Disney we didn’t have loads of time and there was not a massive choice. Managed to get a bottle of water with the pizza’s so that was good as it was a hot day one of the few this summer and the place was heaving.

 

Lunch  

·        Pizza

·       Pint of water

·        Cup of tea

 

 

Dinner

·        Ham sandwich

6. Day Six - Low GL DIET

            Breakfast

·        Grape fruit, youghat

·        Pint of water

·        Coffee (its the weekend) x 2

 

 

Lunch  

·        Wchicken kebab (brochette) we were in France

·        Pint of water

·        Cup of coffee (its the weekend)

 

 

Dinner

·        Steak, chips (its the weekend)

·        Red Wine 2 glasses (its the weekend)

0. Low GL Diet - Start

 My goal is to get down to 13st 7lbs, I don’t have a specific date but 31 December 2008 seems like a good goal I am 14st 7lbs at the moment when I weigh in.

 

I am starting the Low GL diet the idea is that you eat during the day to maintain your blood sugat level at a consistent level to you don’t then stuff your face.

It is a very low carb diet, I was reading an article in the paper recently and it was saying that a bowl of pasta 20 minutes later is like a bowl of sugar.

 

I am going to list what I have had to eat during the day and any exercise that I do.
